ファイナルファンタジーXIについて

今年14年目を迎えるファイナルファンタジーXIは、日本を代表するRPG『ファイナルファンタジーシリーズ』の生みの親である、田中弘道氏が手がけた最後のファイナルファンタジーのMMORPGです。

キャンペーンを始めた経緯について

開発スタッフの熱意も強く伝わってきていて、誰もがまだ続くと思っていたところ、2015年3月19日の発表会で、8ヶ月後の11月を最後に大型バージョンアップの打ち切りが突然告げられ、ほぼ全てのプレイヤーが困惑し、反対を表明しています。思い出話をしているうちに泣き出してしまう人も少なくありませんでした。私自身も、この決定に到底納得できず、行動を取らせていただくことにしました。

ファイナルファンタジーXI存続させる意義

多くの人がファイナルファンタジーXIとともに過ごし、成長してきました。学生だった私は大人になり、大人だった人には自分の子供と遊んでいます。このゲームをきっかけに出会い、結婚をする人もいました。海外に親日家の友人を持つきっかけになった人もいました。多くの人の遊び場であり、出会いの場、国際交流の場でした。今やファイナルファンタジーXIはゲームという概念を超え、コミュニティとなり、世界中の多くの人にとって、ライフスタイルの一部、欠かせないインフラになっています。

ぜひ、この掛け替えのない遊び場所を守るため、、この素晴らしいゲームを守るために力を貸してください。

About Final Fantasy XI

Final Fantasy XI is entering its 14th year this year (2015), it is the first MMORPG made of the great Final Fantasy series and the best Final Fantasy Hiromichi Tanaka san has worked on.

Why did I start?

We have felt a strong enthusiasm of development staff, and we have believed FFXI will keep continue. In the live letter on March 19, 2015. we were suddenly told that the last chapter will be in November after 8 months from now. I and most players were confused and dissagree it. After live letter there are some people cry while talking about FFXI memories and episodes. I couldn't understand with this decision so I decided to take action.

Why we need FFXI?

Many people including me, spent a lot of time playing Final Fantasy XI, a life time, including myself. the game has grown and so did we. I played since I was a student and now am an adults. Some even have their children play the game with them. I even met my wife in the game and married her. The game also made people from all over the world meet and befriend each other. Final Fantasy XI is the play ground of a lot of people, it is a meeting place, was the place of the international exchange. And beyond the concept of Final Fantasy XI game now, it becomes a community, for many people around the world, part of the life style, has become an indispensable infrastructure.

By all means, in order to protect this irreplaceable play place, please lend force to defend this great game.
