這份連署在達成一定目標後，將正式遞交給美國白宮、國務院、財政部、外國資產控制辦公室（OFAC）以及美國參、眾議院。我們希望透過國際社會的關注與行動，讓美國正視台灣政治體系中親中勢力所帶來的潛在威脅。

台灣的國家安全與民主制度正面臨迫切挑戰。一些與中國共產黨（CCP）有聯繫的在野政治人物，正積極削弱台灣的國防與國際合作空間。

新聞報導指出，部分在野政治人物可能擁有大量境外資產，或家人有外國公民身分——這引發了台灣國內嚴重的境外勢力滲透與利益衝突疑慮。

這樣的發展不僅危及台灣主權，更破壞印太地區的戰略穩定，而這正是美國與其盟友關切的關鍵議題。

我們呼籲美國政府與國會採取具體行動：

1.調查與中國可能有利益勾連的台灣政治人物；

2.支援台灣強化國家韌性與戰略自主；

3.與印太區域夥伴國家緊密合作，共同對抗威權主義的擴張與政治滲透。

維護自由社會的開放體制，防止威權政權操弄民主制度、進行滲透與影響，是全球自由陣營的共同責任。現在正是美國採取行動的時刻，願美國和台灣攜手守護區域安全與共同價值。

This petition, once reaching its target threshold, will be formally submitted to the White House, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of the Treasury, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and both chambers of the United States Congress.

We urge the U.S.  to take seriously the growing threat posed by pro-Beijing political figures  within Taiwan’s political system.

Taiwan’s national security and democratic system are facing an urgent challenge. Certain opposition figures with documented ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are actively working to weaken Taiwan’s  national defense capabilities and international alliances.

Independent reports suggest that some of these individuals may hold significant foreign assets or have close family members with foreign citizenship—raising serious concerns of potential conflicts of interest and foreign influence operations.

These developments pose not only a domestic threat to Taiwan’s sovereignty, but also undermine the strategic stability of the Indo-Pacific region—a key priority for the United States and its allies.

We respectfully call on the U.S. government and Congress to:

1.Investigate political figures with suspected foreign entanglements;
2.Support Taiwan’s efforts to maintain national resilience and strategic independence;
3.Stand firm with partners in the Indo-Pacific in resisting CCP's authoritarian expansion and political subversion.

It is in the interest of the free world to ensure that authoritarian regimes are not able to exploit open societies for covert influence. Let us act now to uphold regional security, transparency, and shared values.
