This new documentary is worth watching and sharing, but please note that the history is incomplete and erroneous because it begins with a 1945 map showing Taiwan as part of China. The ROC government occupied Taiwan after World War II, but Japan never legally transferred sovereignty to the ROC. Sovereignty over Taiwan resides with the Taiwanese people and its democratically elected leaders.
