In an interview with Radio Taiwan International, French Senator Alain Richard says he would personally approve if Taiwan wanted to change the name of its representative office in France from "Taipei" to "Taiwan" Representative Office. 

He was not asked if he would support Taiwan competing as "Taiwan" instead of "Chinese Taipei" in the Paris 2024 Olympics, but it is clear what his answer would be: He supports letting the Taiwanese people decide. 

In another favorable development, the French National Assembly just passed a resolution supporting Taiwan's participation in international organizations.

As Senator Alain Richard said in the interview, French support for Taiwan is "obviously" growing.

Let Taiwan Be Taiwan at the Paris 2024 Olympics!
