ドミンゴさんとノンちゃんの闘いに対し、皆様から引き続きご支援をいただき、誠にありがとうございます。今回は、お二人の最新情報の一部をお伝えしたいと思います。
入学できました！
ノンちゃんは2026年4月より、新しい学校に通い始めました！おめでとう、ノンちゃん！！
2025年12月にノゾミさんはドミンゴさんと暮らすために東京へ引っ越しましたが、長くて煩わしい行政手続きのため、ノンちゃんが新しい学校に通い始めるまでには長い時間を要しました。しかし、今や東京で高校2年生として新生活を送るノンちゃんを、私たちは皆、心から誇りに思っています。現在、ドミンゴさんは毎日ノンちゃんを学校へ送り迎えし、常にお子さんの安全を見守っています。学校生活はノンちゃんにとってまた大きな変化ですが、施設に戻る必要が決してないこと、そして母親がそばにいることで安心感を得られることを願っています。
東京都「愛の手帳」の交付決定
ノンちゃんは東京都の障がい者手帳「愛の手帳」の審査を受けました。審査の「クイズ」ではたくさんの質問に答える必要があり、よく面白い答えを返していました。本当にユーモアのセンスがある人ですね！ 審査の結果、区分２度と認定され、これは「高度な支援を必要とする障害」であることを意味します。現在、様々な障がい者支援サービスの利用申請手続きを進めています。
生活保護の認定
ドミンゴさんの在留資格上、就労が禁止されています。そのため、ノンちゃんを養うための収入を得ることができません。こうした状況下で、ノンちゃんは日本国民として生活保護を申請する権利があり、その申請は承認されました。今後、地方自治体は毎月彼女の生活費を支援することになります。しかし、この状況の皮肉な点は、私たちにも十分に理解できます。もしドミンゴさんがビザのステータスと就労権を伴う恩赦を受けていれば、ノンちゃんを支えるための直接的な収入を得ることができたはずですが、ドミンゴさんは現在、自分の子どもを経済的に支えるこの機会、この権利を否定されています。したがって、入国管理局が母親の地位を認めないという理由だけで、納税者の税金を使って子どもを支えていることになります。これは矛盾しているのではないでしょうか？
裁判の件
ノンちゃんは、入国管理局を相手取った母親の裁判にも出席しています。
3月と4月の両月、ノンちゃんは、収容中の虐待を理由に入国管理局を提訴しているドミンゴさんの主尋問に出席しました。ノンちゃんは、法廷外での抗議活動にも参加しました。今年の4月は、入管職員とドミンゴさん本人に対する反対尋問が行われました。尋問は長く、非常に辛いものでした。ドミンゴさんと多くの傍聴者が涙を流す中、彼女は勇気を持ってやり遂げ、ノンちゃんは終始その場に寄り添い、自分なりの方法でよく応援していました。ノンちゃん、本当にありがとう。
なぜドミンゴさんが今、これまで以上にビザの在留資格を必要としているのか
ノンちゃんは24時間の介護を必要としており、母親の継続的なサポートが不可欠です。ノンちゃんは幼い頃に突然家族から引き離され、ドミンゴさんと10年間も離れて暮らすという大きな苦しみを味わってきました。ノンちゃんにはトラウマの明らかな兆候が見られ、これまでの経験を徐々に乗り越えていくためには、母親の愛情と支えが必要です。ドミンゴさんもノンちゃんも、二度と無理やり引き離されることはないという安心感を必要としています。ドミンゴさんは、日本語しか話せない日本国籍の娘のそばにいて、彼女の障がいに伴うニーズに応える必要があります。また、経済的にも娘を支える自由を切に望んでいます。
私たちは入管に対し、ドミンゴさんに一日も早く特別在留許可を与えるよう強く求めます！これを拒否することは、ドミンゴさんだけでなくノンちゃんにとっても、単なる苦痛に他なりません。

We would like to share with you some of their latest news.
Started School!
Nonchan started her new school as of April 2026! Congratulations Nonchan san!!
Although Nozomi san moved to Tokyo to live with Domingo san in December 2025 a long, frustrating beaurcratic procedure meant she had to wait a long time until she could start her new school. But we are all so proud of her as she starts her 2nd year of high school now in Tokyo. Currently Domingo san is taking Nonchan to and from school every day and is always watching out for her safety. Starting school is another big shift for Nonchan but we hope it will give her reassurance that she never has to go back to an insitution and can make her feel safe knowing her mother is by her side.
Received the Tokyo "Ai no Techo" disability certificate
Nonchan was assessed for the Tokyo disability certificate "Ai no Techo". She had to answer lots of questions in her assessment "quiz" and often gave many funny answers. She has such a sense of humour! She has been assessed as category 2, meaning she is has a disability of high level needs. She is now undergoing application to use various disability support services.
Approved for welfare benefit
Due to Domingo san's status she is prohibited from working. She can make no income to support Nonchan. Given this situation Nonchan, as a Japanese national, has the right to apply for Seikatsu Hogo, welfare benefit and she has been approved. The local authority will now be supporting her living expenses every month. But the irony of this situation is not lost on us. If Domingo san was given amnesty with visa status and a right to work, she could provide a direct income to support Nonchan but she is currently denied this opportunity, this right to finacially support her own child. Therefore tax payers money is being used to support a child just because the immigration authorities refuse to recognize the status of the mother. This is contradcition in terms is it not?
Court Case - Nonchan has also been attending her mother's court case against the immigration authorities
In both March and April Nonchan attended the court hearings of Domingo san who is suing the immigration authorities for their abuse of her during detention. Nonchan also joined the protest outside the court too. This April was the cross examination of the immigration officer and Domingo san herself. The questioning was long and very painful. With Domingo san and many of the observers in tears, but she pushed on with courage and Nonchan was there all the way, cheering her on in her own way. Thank you so much Nonchan.
Why Domingo san needs visa status more than ever
Nonchan is in need of 24 hours care, and needs the continued support of her mother. She has suffered so much by being suddenly torn apart from her family at a very young age and seperated from Domingo san for 10 years. She shows clear signs of trauma and needs the love and support of her mother to gradually overcome what she has been through. Both Domingo san and Nonchan need the reassurance that they will never be forcibly seperated again. Domingo san needs to be by the side of her daughter, a Japanese national, whose only language is Japanese, needs to respond to her disability needs and also dearly wishes for the freedom to support her finacially too.
We demand to the immigration authorities to give Domingo san Special Residence Permission as soon as possible! Refusal to do so is merely a torment not only to Domingo san but also to Nonchan too.
