नमस्कार,

मैं पुष्कर पराशर आज आप सभी से एक ऐसे मुद्दे पर बात करना चाहता हूँ जो हमारे समाज की जड़ों को हिला देता है – बलात्कार और महिलाओं के प्रति बढ़ते अपराध।

हाल के दिनों में हमने मनिषा केस और कोलकाता रेप केस जैसे कई दर्दनाक घटनाएँ देखीं। लेकिन असलियत यह है कि हजारों घटनाएँ ऐसी भी हैं जो कभी दर्ज तक नहीं हो पातीं। हर बार कुछ दिनों तक मोमबत्तियाँ जलती हैं, सड़क पर नारे लगते हैं, फिर सब शांत हो जाता है। मगर क्या इससे हालात बदलते हैं? क्या सचमुच सिर्फ चार दिन का विरोध महिलाओं को सुरक्षित बना देगा?

महिलाओं को घर की चारदीवारी में कैद कर देना कोई समाधान नहीं है। गलती उनकी नहीं कि वे लड़कियाँ हैं। असली बदलाव तभी आएगा जब हम लड़कों को यह सिखाएँगे कि एक औरत का सम्मान करना ही असली मर्दानगी है।

बलात्कार की मानसिकता की जड़ें बहुत गहरी हैं – अश्लील कंटेंट, पोर्नोग्राफी और वह संस्कृति जो औरत को सिर्फ एक “वस्तु” के रूप में दिखाती है। जब तक इस सोच पर रोक नहीं लगेगी, तब तक यह समस्या खत्म नहीं होगी। सरकार को ऐसे हानिकारक कंटेंट पर कड़ा प्रतिबंध लगाना होगा।

और बात सिर्फ यहीं तक नहीं रुकती। आज का युवा सोशल मीडिया का इस्तेमाल अक्सर गलत दिशा में करता है। मगर वही प्लेटफॉर्म अगर सही सोच के साथ इस्तेमाल हो, तो यही सोशल मीडिया नई पीढ़ी को गढ़ने का सबसे बड़ा हथियार बन सकता है। कंटेंट क्रिएटर्स अपनी आवाज़ से एक ऐसी सोच पैदा कर सकते हैं जहाँ सम्मान, संवेदनशीलता और सुरक्षा सबसे बड़ा मूल्य बने।

I am Pushkar Parashar, and today I want to speak about an issue that shakes the very foundation of our society – rape and the growing crimes against women.

In recent times, we have witnessed horrifying incidents like the Manisha case and the Kolkata rape case. But the truth is even darker – thousands of such cases never even reach the headlines. Every time such an incident occurs, we light candles, march on the streets, and raise slogans for a few days. But let us ask ourselves honestly – does this really bring change? Can temporary protests truly make women safer?

Locking women inside their homes is not a solution. Their only “fault” is not that they are women. Real change will only come when boys and men are taught that true masculinity lies in respecting women.

The roots of this mentality lie deep – in pornography, obscene content, and a culture that objectifies women. As long as such content continues to shape young minds, the problem will never end. The government must take strict measures to curb this poison, because banning just a few websites will never be enough.

But the responsibility does not end there. Social media – often misused by today’s youth – can actually become the most powerful tool of transformation. If used positively, the same platforms can build a new generation with values of respect, dignity, and equality. Content creators have the power to lead this change and inspire millions.

भारत में बढ़ते यौन अपराध और बलात्कार की घटनाएँ हमारे समाज पर एक कलंक हैं। जब पुलिस, राजनीति और न्याय व्यवस्था अक्सर असफल हो जाती है, तब हमें – समाज और युवाओं को – खुद बदलाव की जिम्मेदारी उठानी होगी।

Rising sexual crimes and rape cases in India are a matter of deep shame and concern. When police, politics and the justice system often fail, it is upon us – the citizens and the youth – to start the change ourselves.

 

Our Pledge / हमारी प्रतिज्ञा:

👉 हर महिला – चाहे वह मेरी माँ हो, बहन हो, दोस्त हो या कोई अनजान राह चलती लड़की – सब मेरे लिए सम्माननीय हैं।

👉 Every woman – whether she is my mother, sister, friend, or a stranger – deserves respect and dignity.

👉 मैं कभी किसी महिला को गलत नज़र से नहीं देखूँगा और न ही किसी महिला के लिए अपमानजनक विचार रखूँगा।

👉 I will never look at any woman with wrong intentions, nor allow such thoughts to grow in my mind.

👉 मैं न कभी बलात्कार करूँगा और न किसी को करने दूँगा।

👉 I will never commit rape, and I will never let it happen around me.

👉 अगर मेरे आस-पास किसी लड़की को असुरक्षित महसूस होता देखूँगा, तो उसकी मदद करूँगा और उसके साथ खड़ा रहूँगा।

👉 If I see any woman feeling unsafe or in trouble, I will stand by her and help her without hesitation.

👉 मैं दूसरों को भी इस संकल्प में शामिल करूँगा, ताकि यह केवल मेरी नहीं बल्कि पूरे समाज की आवाज़ बने।

👉 I will inspire others to take this pledge, so that this becomes not just my promise, but a movement for our entire society.

 

यह प्रतिज्ञा सिर्फ शब्दों की नहीं, बल्कि एक नई सोच और नई पीढ़ी की शुरुआत है।
