نحن الجالية المغربية المقيمة في هونغ كونغ، نعتبر هذه المدينة وطنًا لنا بعد سنوات من العمل، الدراسة، والمساهمة في المجتمع المحلي.

من بين التحديات التي نواجهها، أن التقدّم للحصول على جواز السفر الهونغ كونغي (HKSAR Passport) يتطلب تقديم وثيقة تُثبت أننا تخلّينا عن جنسيتنا الأصلية.

نحن نعتز بجنسيتنا المغربية، فهي جزء من هويتنا وتاريخنا وارتباطنا بوطننا الأم. ولكن، من أجل إتمام الإجراءات الإدارية في هونغ كونغ، نلتمس من القنصلية المغربية في بكين مساعدتنا عبر إصدار وثيقة رسمية تُفيد بأننا قد تخلّينا عن جنسيتنا، لأغراض إدارية فقط.

هذه الممارسة معمول بها في دول أخرى حيث لا يُعترف بازدواجية الجنسية بشكل رسمي، ومع ذلك يحتفظ المواطنون المغاربة بروابطهم القانونية والرمزية بالمغرب.

لذلك، نناشد وزارة الشؤون الخارجية الموقرة بالمغرب و القنصلية المغربية في بكين، دعمنا وتسهيل هذا الإجراء الشكلي، حتى نتمكن من الاستفادة من الفرص المتاحة في هونغ كونغ، مع بقائنا دائمًا فخورين بانتمائنا للمغرب

We are the Moroccan community residing in Hong Kong, and we consider this city our home after many years of work, study, and contribution to the local society.

One of the challenges we face is that applying for the Hong Kong SAR passport (HKSAR Passport) requires presenting proof that we have renounced our previous nationality.

We value our Moroccan citizenship deeply, as it represents our identity, history, and connection to our homeland. However, to complete the administrative process in Hong Kong, we kindly request the support of the Moroccan Consulate in Beijing to provide a formal document stating that we have renounced our citizenship solely for procedural purposes.

This is a known practice used by Moroccan consulates in other countries where dual nationality is not officially recognized, allowing Moroccans to fulfill administrative requirements while preserving their ties to Morocco.

We respectfully appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Moroccan Consulate in Beijing to assist us with this formal procedure, so that we may pursue opportunities in Hong Kong while remaining proud members of the Moroccan community.
