لماذا هذه العريضة مهمة؟

يعاني الآلاف من أطفال التوحد في المغرب من "صمت اختياري" وتأخر حاد في النطق ليس بسبب نقص في قدراتهم، بل بسبب خلل بيولوجي يمنع وصول الغذاء الأساسي (الفولات) إلى أدمغتهم. هذا ما يسمى علمياً بـ "نقص الفولات الدماغي".

​لقد أثبتت الأبحاث السريرية العالمية التي قادها كبار العلماء مثل الدكتور ريتشارد فراي (Dr. Richard Frye) من الولايات المتحدة، والدكتور فنسنت راماكرز من بلجيكا، أن دواء "ليوكوفورين" (Leucovorin) هو المفتاح لفك هذا الحصار عن الدماغ، حيث يساعد الأطفال بشكل ملحوظ على استعادة القدرة على الكلام والتواصل الاجتماعي.

​المشكلة الحالية:

للأسف، هذا الدواء غير متوفر في الصيدليات المغربية بجرعات تناسب الأطفال، مما يضطر العائلات للبحث عنه في الخارج بأسعار باهظة، أو استخدام بدائل غير فعالة. كل يوم يمر دون هذا العلاج هو فرصة ضائعة من عمر أطفالنا.

​مطالبنا:

نحن الموقعون على هذه العريضة، آباء وأمهات ومتضامنون، نناشد وزارة الصحة والحماية الاجتماعية والمختبرات الوطنية المغربية (مثل صودما، كوبر فارما، ولابروفان) بما يلي:

​الاعتراف الطبي المستعجل: تسجيل "حمض الفولينيك" كعلاج معتمد لاضطرابات النمو والنطق لدى الأطفال في المغرب.

​التصنيع المحلي: البدء فوراً في إنتاج هذا الدواء محلياً (على شكل شراب أو أقراص بجرعات صغيرة) لضمان توفره لجميع الأسر المغربية وبثمن مناسب.

​دعم البحث العلمي: اعتماد بروتوكولات العلاج الحديثة التي أثبتت نجاحها دولياً لتمكين أطفالنا من حقهم في التواصل.

Why is this urgent?

Thousands of autistic children in Morocco remain non-verbal and struggle with cognitive delays, not because of a lack of potential, but due to a treatable biological condition known as Cerebral Folate Deficiency (CFD). In these children, essential nutrients are blocked from reaching the brain.

​Clinical breakthroughs led by world-renowned experts, such as Dr. Richard Frye (USA) and Dr. Vincent Ramaekers (Belgium), have proven that high-dose Leucovorin (Folinic Acid) acts as a "key" to bypass this blockage. Their research, published in leading medical journals, shows significant improvements in verbal communication and social interaction for children treated with this specific protocol.

​The Barrier in Morocco:

Currently, Leucovorin is not registered for neurodevelopmental use in Morocco, and pediatric formulations are virtually non-existent in local pharmacies. This forces families to import expensive alternatives or use standard Folic Acid, which is ineffective and potentially harmful for children with this specific deficiency.

​Our Demands:

We, the undersigned parents, advocates, and concerned citizens, call upon the Moroccan Ministry of Health and Social Protection and National Pharmaceutical Laboratories (such as Sothema, Cooper Pharma, and Laprophan) to:

​Grant Official Medical Approval: Formally recognize Leucovorin (Folinic Acid) as a standard treatment for Cerebral Folate Deficiency and associated autism symptoms.

​Incentivize Local Production: Encourage Moroccan pharmaceutical companies to produce high-quality pediatric versions (liquid or small-dose tablets) to ensure national health sovereignty and affordability.

​Support Early Intervention: Enable neurologists and pediatricians to prescribe this life-changing medication within the Moroccan healthcare system.

La Leucovorine, une forme de folate, a montré des résultats prometteurs dans le traitement de certains troubles liés à l'autisme, notamment en aidant à surmonter les problèmes de communication et de comportement.

Malheureusement, l'accès à la Leucovorine est extrêmement restreint au Maroc. Cette situation est non seulement injuste mais met également en péril l'avenir de nos enfants qui pourraient grandement bénéficier de ce traitement. La recherche a démontré que la supplémentation en folates tels que la Leucovorine peut soutenir le développement neurométabolique, améliorant ainsi la qualité de vie des enfants autistes et de leurs familles.

Il est crucial que le gouvernement marocain reconnaisse le besoin urgent de faciliter l'accès à la Leucovorine pour tous les enfants autistes du pays. Nous demandons la mise en place de réglementations permettant la disponibilité de ce traitement à un coût abordable. De plus, des campagnes de sensibilisation sur les bénéfices de la Leucovorine doivent être menées afin d'informer et d'éduquer les familles touchées par l'autisme.
