در آستانه سالگرد حمله گسترده حماس به اسرائیل و در ادامه یک‌سال تنش‌های فزاینده در منطقه، بحران کنونی به سطحی رسیده که نگرانی‌های جدی درباره گسترش جنگ به نقاط دیگر از جمله ایران را مطرح کرده است. حملات هوایی و متقابل میان اسرائیل و نیروهای نیابتی در لبنان، فلسطین و ایران، بار دیگر نشان‌دهنده پیچیدگی و خطرناکی این درگیری‌هاست. در حالی که بسیاری از کارشناسان و مدافعان حقوق بشر بر این باورند که ادامه این تنش‌ها تنها به افزایش درد و رنج مردم بی‌گناه منجر می‌شود، نیاز به یک رویکرد جدید و عملیاتی برای کاهش تنش‌ها و ایجاد صلح پایدار بیش از پیش احساس می‌شود.

 

در این شرایط بحرانی، بسیاری بر این باورند که راه‌حل نظامی نمی‌تواند آینده‌ای روشن برای مردم منطقه به ارمغان آورد. نیاز مبرم به پایان دادن به خشونت‌ها و بازگشت به دیپلماسی و مذاکره است. ضروری است که هر دو طرف درگیری، به‌ویژه اسرائیل و فلسطینی‌ها، به مسیر صلح برگردند و راه‌حل‌های عملی و بلندمدت برای پایان دادن به این درگیری پیشنهاد دهند.

در این راستا، پیشنهاداتی برای ایجاد یک چارچوب جدید صلح مطرح شده است. این پیشنهادات شامل بازگشت به مرزهای ۱۹۶۷ برای هر دو دولت اسرائیل و فلسطین است، به گونه‌ای که مناطق اشغال‌شده کرانه باختری و شرق اورشلیم مورد مذاکره قرار گیرد و بخشی از زمین‌ها بین دو طرف مبادله شود. بخش قدیمی اورشلیم نیز تحت مدیریت بین‌المللی قرار گیرد تا از انحصار حاکمیت طرفین جلوگیری شود.

این طرح‌ها بر مبنای تجربه‌های گذشته و هدف نهایی آن‌ها، بازگرداندن دو طرف به مسیر دیپلماسی و بازسازی اعتماد است. خروج نیروهای نظامی از غزه، بازگشت گروگان‌ها و زندانیان به خانه‌های خود و ایجاد یک فضای جدید برای گفتگوهای صلح باید از اولویت‌های اصلی باشد.

ما، امضاکنندگان این بیانیه، از سازمان ملل، دولت‌های منطقه و نهادهای بین‌المللی درخواست می‌کنیم که فوراً اقدامات لازم برای برقراری آتش‌بس و جلوگیری از گسترش جنگ به مناطق دیگر را انجام دهند. این جنگ و درگیری‌های پی‌درپی تنها به تشدید ناامنی، افراط‌گرایی و رنج و آوارگی مردم منجر خواهد شد.

اکنون زمان آن است که با اقدام‌های دیپلماتیک و مشترک، مسیر صلح و ثبات پایدار را هموار کنیم. دفاع از صلح، دفاع از کرامت انسانی و حفظ زندگی است.

 

Call for Peace and Immediate Cessation of War in the Middle East

On the eve of the anniversary of Hamas's attack on Israel, and after a year of escalating tensions, the current crisis has reached a critical point, raising serious concerns about the potential expansion of the conflict to other areas, including Iran. The ongoing airstrikes and retaliatory actions between Israel and its proxies in Lebanon, Palestine, and Iran highlight the complexity and danger of this situation. Many human rights advocates and experts believe that continuing these tensions will only lead to more suffering for innocent civilians. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a new, practical approach to de-escalate tensions and build lasting peace.

In this critical context, many believe that military solutions cannot offer a hopeful future for the region. The violence must end, and diplomacy and negotiations must resume. Both Israel and the Palestinians need to return to the path of peace and offer practical, long-term solutions to end the conflict.

Proposals have been made for a new peace framework, which includes returning to the 1967 borders for both Israel and Palestine. Occupied areas of the West Bank and East Jerusalem would be negotiated, and land swaps would be conducted between the two sides. The Old City of Jerusalem would be placed under international governance to avoid exclusive claims of sovereignty.

These proposals, based on past experiences, aim to restore diplomacy and rebuild trust between both parties. Priorities must include the withdrawal of military forces from Gaza, the return of hostages and prisoners, and creating a new environment for peace talks.

We, the undersigned, call upon the United Nations, regional governments, and international organizations to take immediate action to establish a ceasefire and prevent the expansion of this war to other areas. Continued conflict will only exacerbate insecurity, extremism, and suffering for the people of the Middle East.

Now is the time for coordinated diplomatic efforts to pave the way for lasting peace and stability. Defending peace means defending human dignity and the sanctity of life.
