خطاب به دولت فدرال آلمان و وزیر امور خارجه، خانم آنالنا بائربوک

ما، امضاکنندگان این پتیشن، تصمیم وزارت امور خارجه آلمان برای لغو دعوت شاهزاده رضا پهلوی از کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ را قویاً محکوم می‌کنیم.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی، به عنوان یکی از برجسته‌ترین چهره‌های اپوزیسیون جمهوری اسلامی، نماینده‌ای از میلیون‌ها ایرانی است که برای یک ایران دموکراتیک، سکولار و آزاد مبارزه می‌کنند. حذف صدای ایشان از یک رویداد مهم بین‌المللی، نه تنها توهین به مردم ایران بلکه اقدامی مغایر با اصول آزادی بیان و دموکراسی است که دولت آلمان همواره از آن دفاع کرده است.

این تصمیم، در حالی اتخاذ شده که جمهوری اسلامی همچنان به سرکوب معترضان، اعدام مخالفان و نقض حقوق بشر ادامه می‌دهد. در چنین شرایطی، سکوت و یا حذف نمایندگان واقعی مردم ایران، تنها به نفع رژیم سرکوبگر تهران خواهد بود.

ما از دولت فدرال آلمان و وزارت امور خارجه می‌خواهیم که این تصمیم را مورد بازنگری قرار دهند و با پایبندی به اصول دموکراسی و حقوق بشر، از حضور شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در مجامع بین‌المللی حمایت کنند.

To the Federal Government of Germany and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock

We, the undersigned, strongly condemn the decision of the German Foreign Ministry to revoke Prince Reza Pahlavi’s invitation to the Munich Security Conference.

Prince Reza Pahlavi is one of the most prominent opposition figures against the Islamic Republic and a representative of millions of Iranians who strive for a democratic, secular, and free Iran. Silencing his voice at such a significant international event is not only an insult to the Iranian people but also a contradiction of the principles of freedom of speech and democracy that the German government has always defended.

This decision comes at a time when the Islamic Republic continues its brutal repression of protesters, execution of dissidents, and violation of human rights. In such circumstances, ignoring or excluding the legitimate representatives of the Iranian people only serves the interests of Tehran’s oppressive regime.

We urge the German Federal Government and the Foreign Ministry to reconsider this decision and uphold their commitment to democracy and human rights by supporting Prince Reza Pahlavi’s participation in international forums.
