Минувшее 3 марта – это Всемирный день защиты дикой природы – Европейское отделение Программы ООН по окружающей среде (ЮНЕП) посвятило нашему, самому маленькому в мире, каспийскому тюленю. А, кроме того, призвало мировое сообщество сделать всё возможное для его защиты. Это очень здорово, друзья! Это наша с вами заслуга. Поздравляем и благодарим! И все же успокаиваться рано. Нам по-прежнему нужны подписи, сто с лишним тысяч – этого, к сожалению, мало. Всё слишком серьёзно. Нам во что бы то ни стало нужно занести каспийского тюленя в Красную Книгу РФ. It is great, dear friends! This is our common achievement. We congratulate and thank you. Nevertheless, it is too early to calm down. We still need signatures; a hundred thousand of them – it is not enough, unfortunately. The problem is very serious. We should do our best for inscribing the Caspian seal into the Russian Red Book.
