No To Vaccine Clinics In Arizona Schools
The Issue
Schools are hosting and promoting vaccine clinics both on and off campus to provide distribution of Covid shots to students and faculty. There are reports that by being on campus, students and their parents give “implied consent” for a student to be vaccinated without parental presence. Other states are giving children ages 12 and up the ability to give consent on their own. This infringes on the Parents’ Rights. As stated in the ParentsRights Handbook for Public and Charter Schools:
A.R.S. § 1-601 – Parents’ rights protected
A. The liberty of parents to direct the upbringing, education, health care and mental health of their children is a fundamental right.
B. This state, any political subdivision of this state or any other governmental entity shall not infringe on these rights without demonstrating that the compelling governmental interest as applied to the child involved is of the highest order, is narrowly tailored and is not otherwise served by a less restrictive means.
A.R.S. § 1-602 – Parents’ bill of rights; definition
A. All parental rights are reserved to a parent of a minor child without obstruction or interference from this state, any political subdivision of this state, any other governmental entity or any other institution, including:
1. The right to direct the education of the minor child.
2. All rights of parents identified in title 15, including the right to access and review all records relating to the minor child.
3. The right to direct the upbringing of the minor child.
4. The right to direct the moral or religious training of the minor child.
5. The right to make health care decisions for the minor child, including rights pursuant to sections 15-873, 36-2271 and 36-2272, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
6. The right to access and review all medical records of the minor child unless otherwise prohibited by law or the parent is the subject of an investigation of a crime committed against the minor child and a law enforcement official requests that the information not be released.
7. The right to consent in writing before a biometric scan of the minor child is made pursuant to section 15-109.
8. The right to consent in writing before any record of the minor child's blood or deoxyribonucleic acid is created, stored or shared, except as required by section 36-694, or before any genetic testing is conducted on the minor child pursuant to section 12-2803 unless authorized pursuant to section 13-610 or a court order.
Covid vaccinations are not approved by the FDA and it is against Federal law to administer them without informed consent. As written by Children’s Health Defense:
“The bottom line is this: mandating products authorized for Emergency Use Authorization status (EUA) violates federal law as detailed in the following legal notifications.
All COVID vaccines, COVID PCR and antigen tests, and masks are merely EUA-authorized, not approved or licensed, by the federal government. Long-term safety and efficacy have not been proven.
EUA products are by definition experimental, which requires people be given the right to refuse them. Under the Nuremberg Code, the foundation of ethical medicine, no one may be coerced to participate in a medical experiment. Consent of the individual is “absolutely essential.”
Additionally, there is rising evidence of Covid vaccinations resulting in serious side effects such as blood clots and even death, especially among young adults.
Schools are for education and harnessing well-rounded individuals. Health care decisions and vaccinations are for discussion between parents and health care providers - NOT SCHOOLS! We will not stand for it any longer. Let it be known-- no vaccine clinics in schools, no promotion of vaccine clinics by schools, and no mandated vaccines for students, faculty, and parent volunteers to be on campus, to play sports, or any other activity on campus.
