Throughout the last couple of months, Narcan Do It has been working towards an initiative of adding Narcan into local Athens bars. We have received the green light for this initiative and are working towards getting contacts for the bars. While we've been working on this project, we have been made aware of the limitation of funding for the Naloxone boxes on campus. We have 5 boxes around campus and only 2 are being refilled monthly with only 1-2 Narcan kits.

That is an insignificant amount of Narcan provided on campus for a school of over 20,000 students. We are asking President Gonzalez to consider and implement funding for Narcan across campus.
