Women have been dealing with periods since the dawn of time and being judged and shamed because of it. Tampons are the one health item that all women need once a month. However, due to shame and judgement by others, women are only able to get tampons at their local pharmacies. This can lead to embarassment when shopping for one.

Tampons are not something to be grossed out by. The shame and judgement given to women about their periods need to stop. If an emergency happens, women should be able to find a tampon in any business. Tampons are just as cheap as straws. If all buinesses carried tampons like straws, women would have more peace of mind that they wouldn't have an accident. Restaurants, movie theaters, bars, salons, and any other business should be able to offer free tampons to anyone who needs one.

All businesses should be required to carry tampons in their establishment. Periods are not soomething that is gross and disgusting. Periods are a perfectly normal thing that happens to women once a month. If everyone were more open to how women have to deal with their periods. everyone would feel more open and comfortable and less shamed.
