With over 7,000 households having eviction dates looming over the next weeks and months, we call on the government to immediately reinstate the No-Fault Eviction Ban.

The No-Fault Eviction Ban is the only safety net available for the many thousands who will lose their homes.

We note that the No-Fault Eviction Ban only covers those who pay their rent, do not damage the property or do not engage in anti-social behaviour.

We also call on the government to use the space created by the No-Fault Eviction Ban to use emergency powers to drastically increase the number of social and affordable homes and to ramp up the availability of emergency accommodation.
