United Kingdom Government: Set up an English Constitutional Convention

The Issue

England is the only nation in the UK which has never had a constitutional vote on its future. Wales has had three, Scotland has had three and Northern Ireland has had two. Throughout all the changes to the governance of the United Kingdom the nation of England has been completely ignored.

We hereby call upon the United Kingdom Government to acknowledge the sovereignty of the English people to determine the form of government best suited to their needs, and call upon them to consult the people of England on our constitutional future by way of an English Constitutional Convention and a referendum on its conclusion.
