The character of Porkins was given the short end of the stick in the original feature film, and fans the world over would love to see proper tribute paid to the late X-Wing pilot.

The character of Jek Porkins was given backstory in the expanded Star Wars universe and has become one of the unsung heroes of the original film. It would be a tremendous nod to both the character as well as the fans of the character and series to see Porkins make his return in the upcoming trilogy.
