Yusef Salaam is a prominent activist and public figure in the United States, known for his advocacy work in justice reform. He is a founding member of Justice 4 the Wrongfully Incarcerated, an organization dedicated to supporting those affected by wrongful convictions. His activism stems from his personal experience as one of the Central Park Five, a group of teenagers wrongfully convicted in the late 1980s, which has since brought attention to issues of racial discrimination and injustices in the legal system. Yusef Salaam is also a motivational speaker and author, using his platform to educate others on the impact of wrongful incarceration and to promote systemic change. Through his efforts, he continues to be a voice for reform and justice.
