Nicholas Van Campen Taylor, known as Van Taylor, is an American businessman and Republican politician hailing from Plano, Texas. He served as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 3rd congressional district from 2019 to 2023, after being first elected in 2018. Taylor's political career includes tenures as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 2010 to 2015 and as a State Senator in Texas from 2015 to 2019. A Harvard University alumnus, he holds both a Bachelor's degree in History and an MBA. In addition to his political endeavors, Taylor has experience as a Director at Churchill Capital Company, LLC, and served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a dedicated member of the Republican Party.
