Tyrone M. Carter is a distinguished American public figure and former professional football player. Notably, he excelled as a safety in the National Football League (NFL), where he showcased his talent with teams such as the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, and San Diego Chargers. Before his NFL career, he gained recognition as an All-American college football player for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, earning multiple national accolades. Transitioning to public service, Carter holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and has served in various leadership roles. His career includes positions as Assistant Director of Campus Safety at Wayne County Community College, Consultant at TLC Management and Consulting, and Lieutenant in the police force. Currently, he represents District 1 in the Michigan State House of Representatives.
