Tom Briese is an American politician currently serving as Nebraska State Treasurer, a position he has held since 2023. Prior to this role, he was a Nebraska State Senator, representing the 41st district from 2017 to 2023. A member of the Republican Party, Briese has been actively involved in his community and state politics for several years. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Beyond his political career, Briese has served as a farmer and as a board member on the Boone Central School Board, showcasing his commitment to both agriculture and education in Nebraska.
