Tom Arceneaux, is the Mayor of Shreveport, Louisiana. He was sworn in as the city's 57th mayor in December 2022. Arceneaux is a Republican and has extensive experience in business law and litigation. He previously served on the Shreveport City Council from 1982 to 1990, including a term as council chairman. Arceneaux is a graduate of Captain Shreve High School, LSU, and LSU Law. His leadership roles highlight his commitment to community development and legal expertise. Before becoming mayor, he worked as an attorney with Blanchard Walker O'Quin & Roberts for over 20 years
