Thomas McKevitt is an American politician affiliated with the Republican Party. He served as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 17 from 2006 to 2017, which encompasses significant areas of Nassau County, New York. In addition to his legislative role, McKevitt has held various legal and governmental positions, including serving as a Senior Associate at Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, P.C., and as Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Hempstead. He has also worked as Special Counsel at Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC, and served in the Nassau County Legislature for District 13. McKevitt's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University. He is an alumnus of St. Dominic High School.
