Thomas E. Jackson Jr., commonly known as "Action" Jackson, is a prominent figure in Alabama politics. Born on August 24, 1949, in Thomasville, Alabama, he has been serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from District 68 since 1994Jackson holds an Associate of Arts degree from Selma University (1970), a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Knoxville College (1972), and a Master of Arts in Education and Counseling from Alabama State University (1977). Before entering politics, he worked as a teacher at several schools, including Coffeeville Elementary School, Coffeeville High School, Jackson Middle School, and Thomasville Adjustment Center. He also worked at Thomasville Hospital and served as a professor at the University of South Alabama..
