Tahesha Way is an accomplished American politician and public servant, currently serving as the Secretary of State of New Jersey. A member of the Democratic Party, she has been in office since February 2018. Way holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University. Before her tenure as Secretary of State, she served as a judge in the New Jersey Superior Court and as a member of the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, showcasing her extensive experience in both law and governance. Throughout her career, Way has been dedicated to public service and has played a significant role in overseeing elections, promoting civic engagement, and enhancing the state's cultural and historical assets.
