Sue Shink is an American politician and community advocate currently serving as the State Senator for Michigan's 14th Senate District, having assumed office on January 1, 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she was elected in the 2022 Michigan Senate election. Before her tenure in the State Senate, Shink's public service began as a trustee of Northfield Township. She was subsequently elected to the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners in 2018 and re-elected in 2020, where she served as chair.
