Stephanie Bontempi is an elected official serving as the Councilmember for District 18 in the Suffolk County Legislature, New York. An immigrant from Sweden and a naturalized citizen, Bontempi has been a Huntington resident for 30 years. She is a former educator with extensive experience teaching elementary education at various schools, including Cold Spring Harbor Central School District and The Green Vale School. Bontempi holds a B.S./B.A. in Economics/Finance from the University of Hartford, an M.S. in Elementary Education from C.W. Post, Long Island University, and an M.S. in Educational Technology from L.I.U. Post1.
