Sonya Halpern is an accomplished political figure and business leader with a strong foundation in communication and management. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, followed by an MBA from the University of Hartford. Before entering politics, Halpern gained valuable experience in the corporate world, serving as the Director of Sales Programs at Cox Enterprises. She is also the Principal at WIAT Consulting, where she applies her expertise in strategic planning and leadership. Currently, Halpern serves as the State Senator for District 39 in the Georgia State Senate, where she is dedicated to advocating for her constituents and addressing key issues within her community.
