Ryan McElveen is a prominent figure with a diverse career spanning education, international affairs, and public service. He holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Virginia. McElveen has served in various capacities, including as an At-Large Board Member for the Fairfax County School Board, and has contributed to educational programming at the Weatherhead East Asian Institute. His professional experience includes roles in international operations and policy at The Boeing Company and at the John L. Thornton China Center at The Brookings Institution. Additionally, he has worked with the Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the U.S. Department of State and held a position in correspondence at the Clinton Foundation. McElveen is also the Managing Director and Founder of Global Leaders of Fairfax County.
