Russell Bedsole is an accomplished public servant with a robust background in law enforcement and local governance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Auburn University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Troy University. Bedsole has dedicated much of his career to serving the community, beginning as a Captain at the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, where he honed his leadership skills and commitment to public safety. His dedication to civic engagement led him to become a Councilmember at the Alabaster City Council. Currently, he serves as the State Representative for District 49 in the Alabama House of Representatives, where he continues to advocate for his constituents and work on legislative matters impacting his district.
