Ronald Jack Cowan is a Scottish politician and businessperson, affiliated with the Scottish National Party (SNP). He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Inverclyde from 2015 to 2024. During his tenure, Cowan was a member of the 56th, 57th, and 58th Parliaments of the United Kingdom, contributing to significant legislative discussions and initiatives. He holds a High School Diploma from Rockdale High School, a Bachelor's degree in Public and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University, and an Associate's degree from DeKalb College. Before his political career, Cowan worked as an HR Director and Project Manager at the City of Covington Police Department, showcasing his expertise in management and public service.
