Rita Xavier is a dedicated public figure with a diverse background in both public service and the arts. Rita has served in several clerical roles, including positions at the offices of State Representative Jack Kemp and Senator Jacob K. Javits. Her experience extends to the educational sector, where she worked as a clerk at the Buffalo Board of Education. Additionally, she contributed to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in audience development, fundraising, and as an usher. Rita also engaged in transportation planning as part of the Paratransit Coordinating Council at the Contra Costa Transportation Authority.
