Renee Hardman is an elected official serving on the West Des Moines City Council as an At-Large member. She is currently in her second term and has been recognized for her leadership and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Hardman holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Drake University. She has extensive experience in human resources, having served as Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Broadlawns Medical Center and as CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. In January 2024, she was appointed President and CEO of Lutheran Services in Iowa, a major human services agency. Hardman's leadership is characterized by her dedication to community service and advocacy for marginalized populations
