Randy J. Walker (1954-2006) was a notable American college football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Miami University from 1990 to 1998 and at Northwestern University from 1999 to 2005. Over his coaching career, Walker compiled a record of 96–81–5. He achieved significant success at Miami University, winning 59 games, surpassing the achievements of notable predecessors such as Sid Gillman, Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Bill Mallory, and Ara Parseghian. Walker held a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration from Morris Brown College and graduated from Howard High School. Beyond coaching, he contributed to his community by serving as a board member for District 4 at the Georgetown County School District and as the Athletic Director at Georgetown County Parks and Recreation.
