A member of the Republican Party of Iowa, Feenstra has a diverse academic background with a Doctorate in Business and Healthcare Administration from Northcentral University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor's in Communications/Business Communications from Dordt College. His career includes roles such as Head of Sales at Foreign Candy Company, City Administrator for Hull, Treasurer of Sioux County, State Senator in the Iowa Senate, and an Adjunct Professor of Business and Economics at Dordt College.
