Phillip Chen is a dedicated public servant and accomplished academic with a diverse professional background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master's in Public Administration, as well as a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. His career includes serving as an Assemblymember for both District 55 and District 59 in the California State Assembly. Chen has also worked as a Sheriff's Deputy with the Los Angeles County Reserve Sheriff's Department and as a Health Deputy for the Los Angeles County Supervisor. An educator at heart, he has been an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California and California State University, Fullerton. Additionally, Chen has experience in property management and served on the Board of the Walnut Valley Unified School District.
