Olgy Diaz is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in advocacy and policy. She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Women's Studies and Latin American Studies from the University of Washington. Diaz has built a robust career in public service and political management, serving in various capacities including as a Data Coordinator and Executive Assistant at Planned Parenthood, as well as a Senior Political Manager at OneAmerica. Her legislative experience is extensive, having worked as a Legislative Assistant at both the Washington State House of Representatives and the Washington State Senate, and as a Deputy Legislative Director at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. Currently, she serves as a Councilmember At-Large, Position 7, on the Tacoma City Council, where she continues to champion community-focused initiatives.
