Michael Watson is a prominent figure known for his diverse career in both sports and politics. He is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 1991. Watson achieved significant success in the boxing ring, holding the Commonwealth middleweight title from 1989 to 1991 and contending for a world title three times between 1990 and 1991. Unfortunately, his boxing career ended due to a severe injury sustained in a match against Chris Eubank in 1991. Transitioning to politics, Watson earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi. He has served as Secretary of State in Mississippi and was a State Senator in the Mississippi State Senate. Additionally, he is the Attorney and Owner at Watson Legal, PLLC.
