McArthur Wright is a councilmember for District 5 of the Twentynine Palms City Council. He was also the mayor in 2023 but is no longer mayor as of December 2024. He is a native of South Carolina, born in Holly Hill to parents John Arthur and Victoria Wright, and was raised in Eutawville, South Carolina. Wright is also the president of the Ministerial Association. He is currently serving as Councilmember for District 5, with his term expiring in 2026.
