Maureen C. O'Connell is an American politician and nurse affiliated with the Republican Party. She currently serves as the County Clerk of Nassau County, New York. In addition to her political role, O'Connell is an adjunct faculty member at the Adelphi University School of Nursing. She also contributes her expertise as a member of the School of Nursing Advisory Boards at Nassau Community College, Molloy College, and the State University of New York at Farmingdale. Previously, she was a member of the New York State Assembly.
