Mark Huizenga has built a distinguished career through his diverse roles in business, healthcare, and public service. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Calvin College, and a Master's degree from Aquinas College. He began his career in accounting at Van's Delivery Service, Inc., later serving as an Office Manager at AF Associates Family Medicine PC and as a Director of Pediatric Practices at Spectrum Health. Huizenga also worked as a Healthcare Consultant and founded his own consulting firm. In public service, he was a Commissioner on the Walker City Commission, later becoming the Director of Reimbursement at ProCare Systems, Inc. Elected as State Representative for Michigan's 74th District, Huizenga also served as Mayor of Walker, demonstrating his commitment to community leadership and governance.
