Mari Lynn Kruger Leavitt is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 28th legislative district in Pierce County. She has been in office since 2019 and is a member of the Democratic Party. Leavitt holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Education from Western Washington University, as well as a Doctorate in Community College Leadership from Oregon State University. She also earned an Associate's degree from Tacoma Community College. Before her tenure as a state representative, Leavitt was a small business owner and served as the Deputy Director at Pierce County Human Services. Her diverse professional background and educational achievements underscore her commitment to public service and community development.
