Marc Elkins is a distinguished professional with a diverse background in law, engineering, and public service. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) in Law from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University. Elkins has served in various influential roles throughout his career, including as Chair at the Leawood Planning Commission, where he contributed to urban planning and development. In the legal field, he has been a partner at both Stinson, Morrison, Hecker and Morrison & Hecker. His corporate experience includes serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Cerner Corporation. Additionally, Elkins has a research background, having worked as a researcher at the National Science Foundation/Kansas State University Research Station.
