Lindsay Mahaffey is a dedicated educator and public servant with a strong background in international studies and education. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies & French from St. John Fisher University and a Master’s in Secondary Education and Teaching from Western Governors University. Mahaffey has held various significant roles in education, including serving as a World Language Teacher and Middle School Advisor at Villa Academy and as an Intern Teacher for High School Social Studies at Puget Sound Adventist Academy. She currently serves as a Board Member for District 8 in the Wake County School District, where she applies her extensive experience and passion for education to help shape policies and initiatives that benefit students and educators alike.
