Her academic journey began at Dr. Phillips High School, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from Howard University, and culminated with a Juris Doctor from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Davis has held notable positions such as Senior Director of Community Programming at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Senior Attorney at the Department of Children and Families. Her diverse experiences reflect her commitment to both the arts and the welfare of her community.
