Lawrence Stanley Springer is an American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party. Since 2005, he has been serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 45th district. Presently, he holds the position of Deputy Majority Leader. Before his tenure in the state legislature, Springer was actively involved in local government, serving as the Mayor of Kirkland from 2000 to 2003 and as a Kirkland City Council member from 1994 to 2004. In addition to his political career, he is a small business owner. Springer holds a Master's degree in Family Counseling from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Western Washington State College. He completed his high school education at Bellevue High School.
