Kevin Turner was an American professional football player and law enforcement officer. Born in 1969, Turner was a fullback in the NFL, playing for the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles over an eight-season career. He showcased his athletic prowess while playing college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. After retiring from football, Turner pursued a career in law enforcement. He served as a Narcotics Agent and Gang Investigator at the North East Alabama Regional Drug Task Force, a Chief Investigator at the Madison County District Attorney’s Office, and a Patrol Deputy at the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Turner passed away in 2016 after battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a condition linked to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
