Kevin Hertel is a dedicated public servant and experienced political figure with a strong educational background and diverse professional experience. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Michigan State University and completed his high school education at Notre Dame High School. Hertel has served in various roles that highlight his expertise in legislative affairs and governmental operations. He worked as an Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs for the Associated Students of Michigan State University and as a Legislative Analyst in Governmental Affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He also held the position of Special Assistant in the Office of the President at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Currently, Hertel represents District 18 as a Senator in the Michigan State Senate, where he continues to contribute to the state's legislative process.
