Kathleen C. Passidomo is an accomplished American lawyer and politician affiliated with the Republican Party. She has been serving as the President of the Florida Senate, representing the 28th district, which encompasses Collier, Hendry, and part of Lee County in Southwest Florida, since 2016. Prior to this, she served three terms in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016, representing the Naples area. Passidomo held the position of Senate majority leader from 2018 to 2020 and was the Senate Rules chair from 2020 to 2022. She has a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University and a Bachelor's degree from Trinity University. Additionally, she has been a partner at the law firm Kelly, Passidomo & Alba LLP.
