Karen D. Camper is an American politician and a dedicated member of the Democratic Party. She has served as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 87 since March 31, 2008, following a special election to fill the vacancy left by Gary Rowe's passing. Camper was also a candidate in the 2023 Memphis mayoral election. With an academic background from the University of Tennessee, she has held various roles throughout her career, including Substitute Teacher at Memphis City Schools, Founder of Humble Hearts Foundation, Inc., and Owner of Key II Entertainment. Additionally, she served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, showcasing her diverse expertise and commitment to public service and community development.
